Penny Howard graduated from the ASA school of art in 1995 with a bachelor of Visual arts. Over the following eight years she worked full time in the creative/design field as well as exhibiting in various group exhibitions. She now works full time on her own art. Howard’s work consists of large MDF cutouts of common objects that float slightly slightly above the wall surface, they are loaded with text, homages and frantic marks - Intricately painted, hand shaped wood panels form a story of faith, passion and cultural division.
