Johnny Romeo is an Australian based pop artist who uses topical themes to create his explosive energy filled canvases. Themes such as the rise of the mass media and the fall of the individual, "there is a sense of rage against the machine if you like, I am trying to fight the rebellion but at the same time I like people to make up their own minds when they view my work". Romeo's work is a fusion of oils, acrylics, stencils and lettering that has an urban street feel and a unique intensity.
